The Princeton Middle School Student Leadership Committee hosted their 3rd annual Mental Health Fair in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month on May 26th! To close out the month students proposed as a committee what was important to them and how they could increase wellness, this included: visiting certified therapy dogs, mindful coloring, chalk-it-out station, inviting local community members and student clubs providing resources, and more!

Princeton Middle School competed in 20 total competitions with a 1st finish in 8 of them and 3rd place in 4 for a total of 12 trophies! This year saw the most participants in the club that we have ever had, as well as the best final result that we have had as well.

Welcome to Princeton Middle School! This is an exciting time for your current fifth grade student as we plan for their transition to sixth grade in the fall.
The PMS Boys Basketball team recently volunteered to serve meals in the community at the Princeton Cornerstone Community Kitchen. Twelve members of the “A team” walked from PMS after practice to the United Methodist Church where they prepared trays of food and catered to families in a restaurant-style service.
Princeton Middle School will be celebrating Lunar New Year beginning January 23 and ending on February 5. Thank you to our parent volunteers who were at PMS this week working in the Mandarin classroom to make paper lanterns, stuffing red envelopes, and organizing of the displays for the Commons area.
Princeton Middle School parents are invited to an Open House to see the New Wing at Princeton High School on Thursday, January 19, from 6 PM to 7 PM prior to the Program of Studies presentation. Please meet upstairs in the collaborative space of the 210 wing. Light refreshments will be provided. As part of the Open House, parents will have the opportunity to visit the ROARE (Resource Office for Access, Renewal and Equity) Center. Hope to see you Thursday!

PMS students, their families, and PHS staff are invited to the Fall Fest on October 29 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The Princeton Middle School garden is back in full swing this fall! PMS had its first PMS Garden Tinkering During Recess recently and classes ave been outside in the garden on Mondays. Sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, and peppers were harvested by students this week. Keep an eye out for our school garden produce at lunch in the PMS cafeteria!

Start Strong testing will be held the week of September 19.PMS is working hard to ensure all students have district devices that are working properly. If your student is having an issue with their device, please have them submit a tech ticket on PPS link. If their device is not working at all, their counselor can submit the ticket for them.
PMS would like to invite all 6th grade students to orientation onThursday, September 1 at 8 AM. Students may begin lining up at the front door at 8AM, and we will begin letting them in at 8:10 AM. Our team is looking forward to answering questions. Student orientation will conclude at 10AM. To sign up to receive the district-issued computer for 6th grade students, please click here. Distribution starts on Thursday and Friday and will continue on September 6.

We are excited to welcome everyone back to school on Tuesday, September 6. Please remember that school starts at 8:25 AM. When students arrive on the first two days, they should report directly to their PAWS classes for school-based activities related to school community, schedules, lockers, tours of the building, and expectations.
- We are excited to bring back paper planners for all students and they will be handed out during these first two days.
- Our student planners also contain our student handbook which provides a wealth of information about our school and the wonderful opportunities we offer.
