Princeton High School News

Good evening Princeton High School Family:

Happy New Year! I know that we are all hoping and praying for a better year in 2022, and I look forward to continuing my service to our school community as the PHS principal.

Due to staffing issues at Princeton High School, we will be using a synchronous, virtual learning format for this week, January 3 - 7, 2022. We will follow the standard school day, 8:20 am - 3:21 pm. Our schedule will consist of E-Days and F-Days:

Monday - E-Day

Tuesday - F-Day

Wednesday - E-Day

Thursday - F-Day

Friday - E-Day

Using this schedule will provide the time for students to join the Zoom meetings, for teachers to take attendance and provide synchronous, differentiated instruction, and to have less transitions during the day. We will have one more F-Day to balance out the schedule possibly next week.

All PHS students should check their teachers’ Canvas pages and join their Zoom class sessions according to the schedule.

For any PHS students who would like to come by the high school to pick up a grab-n-go school lunch, please stop by 11:04 am - 11:44 am, our normally scheduled time for lunch break on E and F-Days.

Please resume completing the CrisisGo COVID pre-screening questionnaire every day this week even though we are doing virtual learning. It is an important daily habit to which we must return as it provides essential information to the PHS Health Team.

If in answering the questions, the final screen appears red and states that you are at risk, then please contact the PHS school nurses, Mrs. Cruz ( and Mrs. Cipolloni ( to see what further steps must be taken.

Even though we are going to be doing virtual learning, it may be the case that some PHS students are feeling sick and unable to join their classes. If your PHS student is going to be absent virtually, please email Mrs. Robin Van Hessen ( in the attendance office.

Thank you as always for your support and for taking the time to listen to this message. All the best to you and your family throughout the week and may it be a safe, positive, and successful new year.
