Hello PHS!
My name is Andrea Dinan. My doctoral degree is from Seton Hall in Educational Leadership.
In my position, I oversee the community service/service-learning program in which 42 student leaders and over 400 students participate. Service Learning and Community Service are real passions of mine and I am happy to help you find projects and activities !
I also coordinate the tutoring for the high school and the middle school. By mid-year we hold over 200 tutoring sessions a week. Additionally, I am an advisor of the Gen 1, Crew Club, Interact and Peacemaking clubs.
In the community I serve as a Princeton Rotarian and a board member of Princeton Children's Fund. These organizations ensure that our students have equal opportunity to participate in the wide variety of projects and programs held in our community.
My outside interests include Competitive rowing (crew/sculling), Crossfit and reading. I love to talk about sport and all kinds of fiction!
Stop in the Ideas Center for help, to talk or just to work quietly during the day or after school.
Bethzayda Matos
Bethzayda Matos
Hello everyone! My name is Bethzayda Matos. I am proud island born in the Dominican Republic – the land of merengue, bachata, first university and cathedral in the Americas, and home to many baseball greats. I emigrated to the Bronx, NY at 8 years old, where I grew up.
I attended Queens College where I obtained a degree in psychology. For graduate school, I attended Alfred University where I obtained a Master of Education with a focus on School Counseling (I am certified School Counselor in NJ and NY), Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling, and a Masters in Public Administration. As you can see, education is very important for me! I have extensive experience supporting children and families always through a trauma informed and restorative lens. I have worked as a family therapist and school mental health consultant and behavior specialist supporting NYC schools communities.
As an island gal, sitting on the beach under a palm tree with my daughter (who is my greatest accomplishment) is my happy place! I am grateful to join the Princeton School Community and be a resource and support.

My name is Mrs. Shah and here's a little bit about me: I'm a certified buffalo chicken wing and chips & salsa eater. I'm currently working toward earning my degree in guacamole eating as well! I can eat these foods at any time on any day. Breakfast, lunch dinner, it doesn't matter. I love my spice!
I'm the mother of two sons ages 28 and 25. They are the LOVE of my life and by default have made me an avid Yankees and Miami Dolphins fan. I like baseball and football, but I think I like the team colors more than the sports themselves.
I have been married for 30 years to the man of my dreams. I met him when I was 15 years old. He's my high school sweetheart!
I absolutely LOVE to cook. It's a great way for me to release stress and get creative. My guilty pleasure is watching 8 episodes in a row of the Pioneer Woman on Food Network. There's something really relaxing about watching someone cook decadent food on a ranch in the middle of no where.
I have 12 godchildren. You might say I love kids and that makes me love my job as a counselor at PHS. I've been here for 15 years and I can't imagine working any where else.
Please come visit me! I'd love to get to know you!
Bethany Siddiqu
Bethany Siddiqu
My name is Bethany Andrade Siddiqu, and I am both honored and excited to work with the students, families, and organizations in my hometown of Princeton. Though I was born in Brooklyn, NY, I spent most of my childhood here, attending Littlebrook Elementary and graduating from Princeton High School.
After completing my undergraduate degree in Sociology, I pursued a graduate degree in Social Work with a focus on International Community Development. During my studies, I had the opportunity to travel to South America, where I worked at a school and youth community center in Santiago, Chile. I also interned at the United Nations with the International Federation of Social Workers, an experience that was both a dream come true and a powerful way to combine my love of travel with my commitment to serving others.
Since graduating school, I have held many different positions in state government and within local organizations such as Corner House and Housing Initiatives of Princeton.
In addition to my professional work, I’m deeply connected to the local community and am actively involved with several organizations and boards. I am passionate about promoting equity, diversity, inclusion, and the social-emotional well-being of all students.
At home, I’m a proud mother of a 6-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. Outside of work, I love exploring new places, spending time with my husband and children, trying new foods, listening to music, sipping coffee, and watching true crime shows.
I’m also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Jack & Jill of America, Inc.
I look forward to working together and making a positive impact on our students and the Princeton community!
