Portrait of a Graduate
In addition to providing goals about academics, wellness and inclusion, and preparing for a meaningful life beyond PPS, the strategic plan includes a Portrait of a Princeton Public Schools Graduate.
The Portrait of a Graduate consists of six skills that we aim to intentionally teach, hone, and provide feedback upon.

The six skills are:
- critical thinking
- collaboration
- advocacy for health and wellness
- innovation
- curiosity
- informed citizenry
Our instructional staff is working hard to help our students develop these skills in a myriad of ways. Each instructional space across the district will also have a visual representation of the skills prominently displayed.
PPS held a contest for students to design logos and selected a winner from each of our six schools. We are grateful for our collective community support, especially our students who submitted their artwork, and our PTOs who provided awards for our winners.
The posters are displayed in every instructional space across the district so that students and staff alike can reflect upon these skills throughout their experiences at PPS.
