Over the next two years, Princeton Public Schools will continue to use $26.9 million in referendum funds to implement health and safety upgrades to our schools. Here are some of the planned improvements at Littlebrook. These plans will be reviewed by the Board of Education and may change, as necessary, as bids for construction are received.
Doors: Littlebrook will have more than 60 new doors and locks replaced starting in the spring of 2020 to improve security. Most of the work will be done over holidays and in the evenings. Improved hardware will be installed in these doors and others.
Security Vestibule: Littlebrook will have a new entrance/vestibule for enhanced safety and security. The work will be done in summer of 2020.
Air Conditioning: Littlebrook will receive 24 new classroom air conditioning units in the summer of 2020.
Electrical Work: Initial electrical upgrades should be complete by summer 2020 including a new transformer and switchgear.
Library: The Littlebrook library will be refreshed and updated with new lighting, as well as new ceiling tiles, a new reception desk, new window blinds, new paint, and new carpeting. The upgrades are scheduled to be completed by the end of summer 2022.
