Sixth graders shared voting rights project findings with their peers through slide presentations, discussing how laws can vary by state and influences such as race and ethnicity. Presentations included California, Kentucky Ohio, New Jersey, North Carolina and Texas, as well as a comparison of what it was like to vote in Ancient Greece. Students also discussed their perceptions through surveys before and after the projects and considered how views can change after examining data & evidence.
