Princeton Human Services is seeking donors for its annual backpack and school supplies drive. The drive benefits Princeton children who are low-income and in need of school supplies and new book bags.
For the past eleven years, the Princeton Human Services Commission, Princeton University, municipal employees, local businesses, organizations and residents have donated book bags and school supplies that have benefited many Princeton children. The items are distributed to children from low-income families who attend the Princeton Public Schools and are entering kindergarten through sixth grade.
If you would like to participate in this year’s drive, you can drop off donations in the donation box outside of the Monument Hall building. You may choose to donate book-bags or school supplies or both. See the attached flyer for a list of needed supplies. The deadline to drop off donations is Friday, August 7, 2020.
Please share the attached application to anyone you know that would be interested in receiving a book bag and school supplies. The deadline to apply to receive donations is Friday, August 7, 2020. Princeton Human Services will accept applications online, in our drop box, by email, mail, fax, and even via text message.
Many applications have been distributed to families with children entering kindergarten through sixth grade. Your help and generosity is greatly appreciated. If you have questions, please contact Melissa Urias at email@example.com
