As we have in recent years, PPS will continue to follow homework-free weekends and holidays. We’ve implemented this practice to encourage our students and those dear to them to embrace the importance of rest, reflection, and quality time spent with family and friends.

Homework-Free Dates 2022-23

Oct. 29 - 30	Harvest/Halloween Weekend
Nov. 10 - 13	NJEA Weekend
Nov. 24 - 27	Thanksgiving Recess
Dec. 24 - Jan. 2	Winter Holidays Recess
Jan. 20 - 22	Lunar New Year
Apr. 1 - 9	Spring Recess
May 13 -14	Mother’s Day

We’ve requested that our teachers not assign homework that is due on the first day back following these weekends or holidays. In addition, dates for submitting major projects or taking tests shouldn’t occur before the third day back.
