September 24, 2020
For those of you who have signed up for hybrid learning, we have some good news. Subject to approval by the Board of Education on Tuesday, we will begin our phased re-entry plan in October. On October 1, students who are part of the Autism and Multiple Disabilities program will begin with a two day orientation. Next, PPS will welcome back Pre-K, Kindergarten and Grade 1 students on Monday, October 5 at 8:30 AM. Bus transportation will be available.
The following week, on October 12, teachers will welcome second through fifth grade students back to the elementary schools. And finally, on October 19, we will bring students back to the middle school and to Princeton High School.
All elementary parents have been invited to Zoom meetings with your school principal and these meetings are designed to answer your questions. Students have been assigned a cohort (please check Power School) and we will begin in-person learning with Cohort A on October 5.
Masks are required at all times at all schools and on the bus, children will have their temperatures taken with touchless devices every morning, and we will share the mandatory morning health screening form with parents that must be completed online every day before school starts.
