PHS has already been awarded a whopping $56,500 so far!
And they are now preparing to compete for $100,000 at Nationals on April 24!
A collaboration between the PHS English-Language Learners (ELLs), students in the PHS Research Program, and supported by teachers and administrators from the Science and ESL departments, our team has worked hard to realize a dream: reducing the use of environmentally destructive palm oil while also repurposing food waste (a major contributor of greenhouse gases) into something useful.
