Please read the following to be sure that if your student is scheduled to attend one of the summer programs being offered in the district, they are able to attend on the first day.

For those who are vaccinated, New Jersey residents returning home after travel do not need to quarantine but should still follow travel guidance from the CDC the NJ Department of Health, and all local health and safety protocols.

However, unvaccinated students must continue to follow the CDC travel guidelines which require 10 days of quarantine (without testing) or seven days of quarantine (with a negative test taken on day 3-5 after travel).

The CDC recommends delaying travel until you are fully vaccinated.

Mask requirements remain in effect for all PPS buildings.

For individuals exposed to Covid-19 and deemed to be close contacts, the mandatory quarantine period is ten days. This change is based on guidance from the CDC, the NJ Department of Health, and recommendations from our school doctor. The CDC and the NJDOH allow for a 10-day quarantine (or seven days with a negative test on day 3-5) during periods when the local area has low to moderate disease activity.

It is important that our families know that we continue to be in a public health situation where unvaccinated students--which includes students under age 12--must quarantine after travel outside of the immediate area.

The district continues to monitor public health information and travel advisories from the CDC, the NJ Dept of Health and the recommendations of our health professionals, including the school physician and the Princeton Department of Health.
