Parents from across the district recently gathered at the Princeton Middle School Food Lab for an exciting Food Systems Literacy parent potluck and round table discussion withTomia MacQueen, Food Systems Literacy Coordinator; Monique Graber, Food Service Director; and Dr. Joy Barnes-Johnson, PPS Science Supervisor.
It was an opportunity to share a meal together while talking about food systems initiatives. The goal of the workshop was to partner to find easy, culturally-relevant recipes that are scalable and feasible so that all of our students have a reflection of themselves in their school lunches.
