Transition Services
Transition services are activities designed to assist student progression from high school to post-school activities. These services may include preparation for post-secondary education, vocational, employment training, and development of independent living skills. Transition services are intended to assist the student in becoming a life-long learner and to build skills of independence. Transition services commence at age 14, or younger if deemed appropriate by the IEP team.
