High School Science

Strong partnerships with learners, families and caregivers to support students in reaching their goals even if they are not well defined or are incomplete is a necessary goal of our department. Preparing learners for graduation with life readiness for digital, environmental and social change requires innovation and technical skills, dispositions for cooperation and collaboration and a broad range of academic competencies. As we align our curriculum to the Next Generation Science Standards, we will design instruction and learning activities that center student questions, promote integrative learning across disciplines and build students’ capacity to communicate solutions as globally-minded citizens.
