Creating a Parent Portal Account

  1. Navigate the homepage of the Parent Portal.
  2. Click the Create Account tab.
    • Please note: Non-custodial parents will receive the same Access ID and Access Password to create their own, separate Parent Portal Account. 
  3. Enter your name, email, username, and password. 
  4. Enter your student's name, Access ID, Access Password, and your relationship to the student. 
    • If you are new to the district, this information will be emailed to you near the start of the school year. 
    • If you do not know the Access ID or Access Password for your child, please contact your school secretary. 
  5. Repeat Step 4 for each student in your family who is enrolled in the Princeton Public School District. 
Please do not share you confidential ID or password with others, including with your children. High school students will receive login information for their own Portal account. 

Creating a PowerSchool Learning Account

  1. All families must first have a Parent Portal account. (See instructions above.)
  2. Once you have a Parent Portal account, your PowerSchool Learning account will be created automatically within 24 hours. 
  3. Navigate to PowerSchool Learning.
    • Username: same as your Parent Portal 
    • Initial Password: changeme
    • Once you have logged in, you will be asked to change your password.
