Piano and Instrument Sale, Nov. 9-11
Pianos, Digital Pianos and Orchestral Strings Available for Public Purchase
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, November 9, 10, and 11, 2017

The Princeton Public Schools music department was given the unique opportunity to use many new acoustic pianos at no cost during the 2016-17 school year.  This arrangement was provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation.  These very instruments, instruments provided to other institutions, and instruments otherwise made available by the Foundation will be sold to perpetuate this valuable program and partnership.

A selection of instruments will be available, including:  grand pianos, baby grand pianos, digital player grand pianos, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, and orchestral string instruments.  The sale will include instruments made by Pramberger, Seiler, Yamaha, Baldwin, Roland, Stravari Fine Violins, and other instrument manufacturers, with a discrete selection of used Steinway & Sons pianos.  Most instruments have been in service for less than one year, have been tuned, and include a new factory warranty.  Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site.

There are two ways to view and purchase these instruments:

1)  BY APPOINTMENT:  You are invited to attend a special “private sale” on Thursday, November 9, Friday, November 10, and the morning of Saturday, November 11, along with our faculty and staff, before the sale is open to the general public.  This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions.  To secure an appointment time, please call: (609) 806-4321.

2)  FINAL SALE DAY: You may attend the final sale day, without an appointment, on Saturday, November 11, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

This event will be held in the Princeton High School Performing Arts Center, located at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Walnut Lane.  For directions, please call (609) 806-4321, or visit

In a time where creative solutions are needed to maintain a properly equipped music program, the continuation of this loan program is vital to us in our efforts to further education in the arts.  We invite you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
